ARTIST BIO

Maggie Moy is a multidisciplinary visual artist. Her art practice includes abstract painting, ceramics, and stitch. 

Moy has a Bachelor of Visual Art (Honours) from Adelaide Central School of Art. Her work was exhibited nationally at the 2015 National Graduate Exhibition, Hatched, at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Art (PICA). She was selected for the Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition in both 2014 and 2015, where she received an award from the Royal South Australian Society of Arts.

After graduating she received a grant from the Helpmann Academy, where she travelled to China and undertook a 6 week artist residency at The Pottery Workshop, Jingdezhen. Her artwork, that was produced during her residency, was exhibited at Peter Walker Fine Art and Adelaide Central Galleries.  In 2018 she was selected to design a wine label for Barossa Valley's winery Hentley Farm and its prestige Creation Series. She continues to exhibit regularly in both art shows and private businesses.

She is an active studio member at The Collected Haunt in Norwood and a member of Studio Potters in Klemzig.
