ARTIST BIO

Jane Morgan

Jane grew up on the northern New South Wales coast. From an early age you would find her with a pencil or paint brush in her hand. Most of the subjects were animals, she was drawn to the unique character in their eyes. Obtaining an Associate Diploma in Commercial Art in Brisbane, she then worked in Brisbane as a Graphic Artist for a few years before travelling and living overseas.

Whilst Jane was working overseas she continued with her artistic pursuits, exhibiting and taking on commissions. She met her Welsh husband and has now settled near the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia.

Jane continued to exhibit and take on commissions, and was a finalist in the Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize. After a hiatus she is back to her passion.
